Our Mission: Due to the social isolation many people with an acquired brain injury experience they are unable to access the benefits of the range of contacts and social networks utilized by the general community. The mission of Tasmanian Acquired Brain Injury Services Inc. TABIS is to reduce/remove this social isolation by promoting the availability of, and assisting people with acquired brain injury to access a diverse range of community options.
Pictured on the left is our new location, in Beatty Street Mowbray. We have internet access and lounge area for all members to use. Our new location is wheelchair friendly, we even have a disabled parking spot at the front door! |
